Larry Gagosian opened his first gallery in Los Angeles in 1980, specialising in modern and contemporary art. Five years later, he expanded his activities to New York. More than three decades later, Gagosian has evolved into a global network with sixteen exhibition spaces in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Rome, Athens, Geneva, and Hong Kong.

Gagosian’s vibrant exhibitions program features and contextualises the work of leading international artists and hosts museum-quality historical exhibitions.

The gallery publishes scholarly exhibition catalogues, artist monographs, and catalogues raisonnés.
